Real Property – Advice & Litigation We are experienced lawyers with solid understanding of property matters. Our property litigation team while acting for our commercial clients handles variety of contentious matters involving breach of covenants, termination of leases, lease renewals, issues of sub-letting, surrender of leases and variety of tactical matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act. While acting for tenants we handle claims for rent arrears, eviction and possession, repairs and boundary disputes, as rights of way, easements or covenants. The team conducts litigation in the County Court, the High Court and handle appeals to the Court of Appeal and to the House of Lords. We have an in-house team of advocates who have higher rights of audience in all courts and in all proceedings. Hence, we are cost effective and efficient for our clients. Outside the courtroom we advise our clients in taking pre-emptive measures and devising preventive strategies to avoid possible litigation. When it comes to litigation, we are experienced in securing best interest for our clients. Our residential conveyancing department consists of those fee-earners who are well experienced in every step involved in residential conveyancing transactions. Our procedures are simple and quick. As soon as we are instructed our fee-earners immediately start working and give you a tentative estimate of costs involved and the time your transaction will take. As we claim to provide you personal services, we keep our clients regularly informed of the progress of any transaction by e-mail, text messages, phone or fax. To make things flexible we provide user name and password to each of our client who can check the progress of their transaction, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through a secure website. In case your transaction does not go through for some reason then we limit our charges to a maximum of £150 so you don’t need to worry about a large legal bill to pay if someone withdraws or a chain collapses. As soon as we receive your contract papers we order the usual conveyancing searches online to prevent unnecessary delays. This way some of the results of those searches can be received the same day.
